This Slovenian Malvasia is handcrafted by Cultus a small winery, based in Podraga, in the heart of Vipavska-Dolina, a renowned wine-growing area characterized by green, disheveled vines and clear, transparent streams. Vineyard and cellar are the realm of Matej, a young winemaker who relies on clean farming and non-interventionist winemaking aimed at enhancing indigenous grapes; by his side is the incomparable Carolin responsible for sales and hospitality.
The entry of Cultus into the catalog represents the realization of a desire we had from the beginning: to import foreign wines in bag-in-box format.
Malvazija by Cultus is the first foreign wine we sell in bag-in-box on Sfusobuono. It is a clean white with a strong savory and mineral signature, capable of taking you with your mind to the green hills of Vipava. Perfect for aperitifs, holidays on camper and outdoor dining, it can be paired with mixed sandwiches, michetta with mortadella, ceviche with onion and chili or amberjack tartare.
