Dolcetto from Selection Vitigni Sfusobuono is an everyday, spontaneous red that celebrates the conviviality. It comes from sustainably farmed vineyards in Monferrato, near Asti, and is vinified with native yeasts in steel vats, with very little sulfites added.
Dolcetto exemplifies great value and food-friendliness. In italian Dolcetto means 'littlle sweet one' but don't get confused, this wine is not sweet AT ALL!
This Dolcetto is generous on the nose with berry fruit and hints of flowers like violets. Medium body with low alcohol content and lovely savoriness; it has enough tannin to balance richer foods but not so much weight that it overwhelms lighter ones. Remember to chill it down a bit before consuming it. You must try it with pizza!
