Crocizia winery is based in Pastorello di Langhirano, in the heart of the Parma hills and the people who created it and who animate it today are Marco and Serena. With them, as welcome at the cellar, there are the geese, a constant presence since Marco, helped by his father Aurelio, planted the first vineyards around the house. We are located at 500 meters above sea level, on calcareous soils rich in organic and mineral substances which are well reflected in the wines that come to life here.

Crocizia is a well-known name in the natural wine circle, always linked to Emilia Sur Lì - an association that aims to enhance the sparkling wines of the Emilian territory -, known above all for the production of bottle-conditioned wines with a lively and joyful profile that pay homage to the native grapes and the most traditional winemaking style of the area. Parallel to this sparkling typology, Crocizia has always worked on still wines based on typical varieties of the production area, above all Malvasia di Candia Aromatica and Barbera, which today we are happy to be able to offer in bag in box here on Sfusobuono.

With Crocizia we went to discover the more everyday face of macerated white wine, which was not created to follow a taste trend, but is proposed as a traditional and peasant winemaking style. On the Sfusobuono label there is a man relaxing on a bench, after getting off his bicycle: an image of carefreeness and lightness that is a little reminiscent of theaura of Walter Benjamin and it reflects us a bit, when we realize that we are simply happy and are grateful to rest on that bench, sipping a glass of Crocizia wine, in a bag in box.
