F.A.Q.
THE PRODUCT
What is boxed wine?
When we think about ‘vino sfuso’, the images that crowd our minds are:
- The demijohn: that large and bulky glass container that each of us has seen at least once in our grandparents' cellar, who used to get table wine directly from the producer to then bottle it yourself.
- The caraffe: the liter, the half and the quarter, usually in the center of the table at home or in a tavern, with a red and white checkered tablecloth around it. The 'scaraffato' loose wine is synonymous with conviviality and finds its idyll with home cooking dishes.
Starting from these iconic images, was born the idea of our boxed wine: a gastronomic and artisanal wine, perfect to drink every day, packaged in a light, compact and sustainable packaging, the bag in box.
Is the bag in box a reliable container for wine?
Yes, box is a reliable container for wine. In addition to the practicality with which the wine can be tapped without ever losing a drop, the bag in box is similar to a 'vacuum', meaning that no air enters the container when tapping. This always guarantees optimal preservation of the organoleptic properties of the wine, like a freshly opened bottle.
Our boxed wine are 3 liters and, as in all large formats - for example magnum bottles - the wine evolves in a more balanced way, matures more slowly and lasts longer, conserving its properties more optimally aromas and perfumes.
Furthermore, since there is no cork, you will never run the risk a corked wine.
How long does boxed wine last?
Once opened, boxed wine can last, maintaining its organoleptic characteristics unchanged, for about a month.
In fact, boxed wine is a 'vacuum' so the oxygen does not go inside the bag. In short, until the last drop it will always be like drinking wine from a freshly uncorked bottle (and what's more it will never taste corked!).
Boxed wine doesn’t like temperature changes.
NB: for juices and other products that require it you will find all the expiry information on the label.
How do you select the wines?
As wine enthusiasts, we choose the wines for our oxes with great care.
We personally know the winemakers we work with; our basic requirements are (at least) organic agricolture in the vineyard, the use of indigenous yeasts and few sulphites in the cellar.
In summary, inside our boxed wines you will only find organic wines, natural wines and artisanal wines from small wineries.

ORDER AND SHIPPING
When does my order leave and how long will it take to arrive?
Orders placed by 11am are processed the same day, otherwise the following working day.
Consider that, especially in summer, we try to never ship on Fridays to avoid the goods remaining stuck in the courier's warehouses for the weekend.
Contact us in case of doubts or specific requests.
You will receive an email for each shipment status.
Important: if you don't receive the email with the tracking contact us and we'll support you. You'll find all the info about shipment costs and timing at this page.
It's taking longer than expected, why?
We are super paranoid and attentive to all the details, but couriers are unpredictable :) Contact us and we will try to support you as best we can!
My package arrived damaged, what do I do?
In the meantime, sorry, we do our best to avoid these inconveniences, but unfortunately couriers sometimes give us these surprises. Write to us immediately attaching the photos so we can verify the case. Remember to always sign with RESERVE if you have doubts about the package or if it has arrived visibly damaged (e.g. wet or broken cardboard, obvious damage, cardboard without the SFUSOBUONO tape or tampered with) so that you can open the case with the courier. It is very important because otherwise we have no way of claiming against the courier and the refund / replacement cannot be guaranteed.
How are bags in box shipped?
Regardless of the quantity ordered, the bags are always shipped in a cardboard package closed by a resistant paper tape and filled with filler paper for protection, so you can recycle everything!
