The white of Athos is a mineral wine in the mouth and honey on the nose that comes from the younger vineyards of the Cascina Isabella winery in Murisengo, where the Baratuciàt - endangered vine typical of the lower Val di Susa, but happily transplanted into the Valle Cerrina - is the undisputed master, together with Grignolino and Barbera.

Gabriele Calvo, aka Athos, is a very young producer from the Cerrina Valley, he studied enology in Alba, having experiences in France, at his neighbour Iuli and in Valfaccenda. Today he wants to give his real contribution to the family business bringing area segmentation “which has never been done here!” and thinking about the wine in the vineyard and not just at the time of harvest.
