'Vino da Sete - literally 'wine to drink when you are thirsty' - by Tenuta il Nespolo winery is a perfect red to drink during summer season: fresh, fragrant and light. It recalls Beaujolais, but actually we are in Piedmont, in Nizza Monferrato between plants of Barbera, Freisa and some Sangiovese plants, planted by Luca's grandfather out of habit or madness!. Early harvest and spontaneous fermentation in steel tanks.

'Vino da Sete' [Wine for thirst] is produced by a small and authentic winery in Moasca, in the Monferrato area. The young and sprinting Luca Amerio leads Tenuta il Nespolo, a winery that historically produced bulk wine and that now is enriched by his studies.
If you do not find me in the cellar, you will surely find my grandmother, my CEO, try to escape if you can.. she is able to chat even with the couriers!
'Vino da Sete' is a red wine to drink after leaving the bag in box in the fridge for 1/2 hours. A summer wine perfect to drink during a picnic, a "thirst wine" as the name suggests, born during the first covid lockdown from some fun with friends. Terrific pairing: pizza and Vino da Sete, gnam!
