Rosathos' Rosè Wine Piedmont 3L - Athos
Rosé by Cascina Isabella is handcrafted made by a young producer called Athos in Murisengo, in the highest hills of Monferrato. Here the typical grapes are Barbera and Grignolino, but also Brachetto which, used in very small percentages, gives a pleasant aromatic note to the sip. Keep attention: you may not be able to stop drinking it!

The 'Rosathos' by Cascina Isabella is produced with craft methods by Gabriele Calvo, aka Athos in Monferrato. Athos represents the fifth generation of a family that has always made bulk wine in Murisengo. From this terroir are born local wines, from native vines of the area: wines with an ancient taste, but with a modern style. Find more about Athos - Cascina Isabella
After touring the vineyards around the world for a while, I decided that my home was in Monferrato, where I was born.
HOW, WHEN, WHY?
Rosathos is the rosé wine produced by Athos in Monferrato starting from typical vines of the area. Fresh, flowing and graceful, it shows an excellent acid shoulder (typical of Barbera) on the palate and aromatic and delicate notes on the nose (typical of Brachetto). To drink overlooking the hills with a platter of cold cuts or light goat cheeses.
