Griotta' Craft Sour Beer 1.5L - LoverBeer
The 'Griotta' is a craft beer produced by the Loverbeer brewery, just outside Turin, with the addition of a characterizing ingredient: the Griotta di Pecetto and Trofarello sour cherries. A recipe inspired by Wild Farmhouse Ale of Belgian origin, comparable in taste to cherry Kriek.
Light red color with clear aromas of cherry and almond and vinous memories. Extremely harmonious beer, with a citric and fruity persistence. Attention: unlike the classic bottled beer, in the bag in box format, it is completely flat, because it is bagged before the second refermentation in the bottle.

We like to experiment. That is why our beers are special, sometimes 'extreme', characterised by harmonies of flavours and aromas that balance each other, creating a product capable of surprising even the most curious palates.
HOW, WHEN, WHY?
The Griotta is an all-Piedmontese interpretation of the famous Belgian Kriek beer style, which involves the addition in fermentation of cherries that are eaten down to the stone. The classic fruity and sour hints are combined with aromas of wood and almond with a pleasantly sour end that cleanses the mouth and a totally gas-free taste. Try it with fresh goat cheese or as a joke on your friend who only drinks industrial lagers..
