San Biagio Vecchio on Sfusobuono

More Titto from everyone: a natural antidote against sadness that tastes of Romagna, family and craftsmanship.

From the very first moment we met Lucia and Andrea of Cantina San Biagio Vecchio, we breathed in the aura of family, of serene living and the desire to overcome all the problems of the day with a big smile. Lucia's smile, Andrea's skill and Livia and Lollo's witty faces: all this is San Biagio Vecchio.

San Biagio Vecchio is located in Romagna, a few kilometers from Faenza, in the hills of Oriolo dei Fichi, where the best-known native varieties are Albana, Sangiovese and Centesimo. In the vineyard they work according to the principles of certified organic agriculture, Andrea loves to take refuge between the rows, taking care of the plants, keeping them company by drawing inspiration from the gestures of those who were there before him, Father Antonio, the parish priest of San Biagio. If a courier shows up at the winery unannounced it is unlikely to find him there, much more likely he will find him lost in the vineyard! Today at Andrea's side there is his wife Lucia who with great verve and resourcefulness carries on all the activities related to the winery: the paperwork of organic farming, the bureaucracy, the training courses, the updating of the website, the search for new commercial collaborations such as the one with those crazy people from Sfusobuono :D

Cantina San Biagio Vecchio is embarking on the 'bag in box' experience from year 2020 with a red wine based on Sangiovese di Romagna (does the superlative drinking of Porca Loca mean anything to you?) and a white wine based on Albana, Trebbiano and Malvasia. Chapeau to the name chosen for this first release: il Titto!
